Sperry launched its Top-Sider Classics collection, which features two sneakers: the US12 and Racquet Oxford tennis shoes. Both styles inspired by archival Sperry silhouettes boast retro design elements and the brand’s signature non-slip outsoles.
The US12 sneakers were originally launched in 1987 and worn by the U.S. Olympic sailing team. They are stamped with the brand’s original ’80s logo. Meanwhile, the Racquet Oxford embodies “tenniscore.” In fact, the style was once advertised for “the man with a slick foredeck and a lethal backhand.” See photos below.
