Oxford United have boosted their attacking options with the arrival of 27-year-old, Siriki Dembele.
The former Peterborough man joins for a reported fee of between £1-1.4 million, which would be a club record signing.
Dembele spent four seasons at London Road before joining Bournemouth in 2022 and helping the Cherries secure a return to the Premier League.
He returned to the Championship with Birmingham but suffered relegation from the second tier last season.
The winger, who can also play as a ten and a striker, has penned a long-term deal with the club.
Speaking after signing, Dembele said: “I’m so glad, Oxford are back in the Championship now and the club is looking to go somewhere and I’m excited to be here.
“Having spoken to Des and Ed, the ideas they have to take the club somewhere is what excited me to come here.
“I have played against Oxford a few times and it looks like an exciting time for the team, so that’s why I have signed and now I want to do something big with the club.”
Head coach, Des Buckingham said: “We are delighted to have landed Siriki on a permanent contract as we continue to strengthen the team.
“He is a player with proven quality at this level and above and his football style compliments our attacking play.
“Siriki is exactly the type of profile that we were looking to bring in at this stage of the window. He is a player that can come straight into the group and make a difference, and we are all excited to see him in action.”
