Pune, 2nd October 2024: A helicopter crash occurred in the Bavdhan area early this morning, leaving three people critically injured and feared dead. The helicopter crashed near HEMRL shortly after taking off from the Oxford Golf Club’s helipad, with the incident happening between 7:00 AM and 7:10 AM.

Initial reports suggest that dense fog in the area may have contributed to the crash, though an official investigation is underway to determine the exact cause. Emergency services rushed to the spot, and rescue operations are ongoing.

The helicopter was carrying three people on board – two pilots, Paramjit Singh and G K Pillai, and one engineer, Pritam Bharadwaj.

The Hinjawadi police station (Pimpri Chinchwad police) and aviation authorities are working together to assess the situation, and more details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
