Creation Theatre said it will transform The North Wall into a “winter wonderland” from December 1 until January 4.
The adaptation sees Hansel and Grettel’s mother leading them into the forest to join the Priestess of Winter for dinner.
Dr Helen Eastman, CEO and artistic director of Creation Theatre, said: “Only seven sleeps now until we start rehearsing for the Christmas show – and itâs feeling pretty magical here at Creation.
“We can’t wait to bring Paul Boydâs brilliant words and music to life, and share them with audiences.
“Itâs always a privilege to welcome so many people to a Creation show over the festive season and to be a part of so many Christmases.
“This year sees the return of the youth chorus to our Christmas show, and having children within the company just adds a whole extra level of excitement and fun.
“Expect a wintry wonderland, catchy songs, and lots of laughs.”
Tickets for the show, which is suitable for those aged five or older, range from £13.50 to £32, with concessions and group discounts available.
There will be relaxed performances at 2pm on December 21 and January 3, a captioned performance at 6pm on December 20, and a touch tour performance at 1.15pm on December 14.
