Oxford United to host mental health workshop at Kassam Stadium

Kassam Stadium will host the club’s first mental health workshop as part of their ‘Can We Talk?’ campaign from 6pm to 7.30pm on Monday, November 11.

The workshop, in partnership with Oxfordshire Mind and the Joey Beauchamp Foundation, aims to tackle the issue of suicide, with someone in England taking their own life every 90 minutes on average.

The club is inviting supporters and non-supporters to attend the event in a bid to create the largest club-led mental health workshop in the country.

Those who are interested in attending have been asked to fill out an online form.

The evening will see United player Will Vaulks, Luke Beauchamp, the brother of club legend Joey, and several mental health experts from Oxfordshire Mind share their insights.
