Match-worn Oxford United poppy shirts up for auction

The away shirts, worn at Vicarage Road last Friday, November 8, are now up for auction as part of the club’s support for the Royal British Legion and the armed forces community.

Each match-worn and player-issue shirt has been personally signed by the respective player.

The auction, which started at 5pm on Thursday, November 14, will close at 7pm on Sunday, November 17.

As the country’s largest armed forces charity, the Royal British Legion provides lifelong support to those affected by their service, both physically and mentally, but relies entirely on public donations.

To take part in the auction, fans must be logged into their accounts.

Bidders will receive a confirmation of their bid, and if they are the highest bidder at the end of the auction, they will have three days to complete the purchase.

This can be done by adding the item to their basket and checking out as usual.

If the purchase is not completed in this time, the item will be automatically offered to the next highest bidder.

Bidders are advised to consider their bids carefully, as auction items cannot be returned.

Due to several men’s first team players being away on international duty, dispatch of the auction items may be slightly delayed.
