Joe Sheehan’s side are unbeaten in the Southern Premier Division so far this season, winning seven of their opening nine league games.
They go into this game off their back of their 7-0 thrashing of Cheltenham Town last weekend, with Natasha Thomas scoring a hat-trick for the Blues.
That came off the back of their big home wins over the MK Dons, where they scored 25 goals across two games in league and cup.
The Blues have been really impressive this campaign, scoring a total of 43 goals and conceding just three in the league.
They are currently sit second in the table, three points behind leaders Hashtag United – but Sheehan’s side have two games in hand over the Essex outfit.
Oxford are third in the table, a point and one position below Town, who also have two games in hand over the U’s.
Sam Rose’s side were beaten 2-0 by Hashtag last time out, which ended their five game unbeaten run and was their first away defeat since March.
The U’s have won seven, drawn one and lost three of their 11 league games this season.
They have former Town forward Zoe Barratt in their ranks, who has eight goals in 13 games so far this campaign. She came through the academy at Town.
Town have struggled in the past against Oxford, who did the double over the Blues last season. Ipswich lost 2-1 away and were beaten 1-0 at home at the start of 2024.
However, on the opening day of the season Town finally got one over the U’s as they made a statement to the league when they came away with a 3-0 win at Court Place Farm in August.
This will be a crucial game in the title picture as the Blues will look to distance themselves from Oxford and keep pushing Hashtag for top spot.
The game is being played at the Martello Ground in Felixstowe, kicking off at 2pm.
