Positively impacting the lives of those we connect with is a central pillar of the collaboration between the Club and new Principal Partner, Baxi. This photo opportunity was just one of many community and engagement events planned throughout the season, in what was a truly unforgettable day for all involved.
Tim Williams, Oxford United’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We have a responsibility to positively influence the lives of our fans and the wider community beyond a matchday, and events such as today are a great way of bringing to life the values that sit at the very heart of this Club. Not only did the children at Pegasus Primary have a truly memorable day, the players, coaches, and staff loved being part of something so special .
“Working in partnership with Baxi, along with the Oxford Bus Company, has allowed us to create an unforgettable experience and engage with the next generation of Oxford United supporters.”
Paul Haynes, Product & Solutions Director at Baxi, added: “Very early in our discussions with Oxford United, it became clear that both our organisations share the same aspirations in terms of sustainable development through community outreach activities. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm of the children at Pegasus Primary School and we look forward to carrying out more events with the Club in the months ahead.”
