Oxford United boss Des Buckingham told BBC Radio Oxford:
“We asked for a response from Wednesday in terms of being a lot more creative in the final third and we had some big moments to extend our 1-0 lead.
“I’m happy with the reaction but disappointed with how the second half played out.
“I am who I am and we will always be as honest as we can with the media, fans and the players and they know that. We’ve shown the success of that together.
“We’re not happy with where we are in terms of results. Our aim this year was to stay in the league, that is the reality of it.
“We will work as hard as we can to drive performances out of this team.”
Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl told BBC Radio Sheffield:
“I’m very happy for the team to come back from 1-0 down.
“We should have self confidence but be humble, I think that’s very important. It’s not normal to have so many away wins.
“You have to do a lot of things right to take points in this league.
“Everything wasn’t perfect but we controlled the game in the last 15 minutes.”
