Visitors banned from Oxford property after closure order extended

A partial closure order has been issued for an address on Kingfisher Green in Blackbird Leys today, December 9, which will last for three months.

This means that no one other than the usual occupant can enter the address.

This closure order is the extension of an emergency 24-hour notice enforced by police on December 6, which was enforced due to reports of antisocial behaviour.

A statement from Thames Valley Police said: “This was a result of proactive policing around a specific address and listening to the local community in relation to their concerns.

“The Blackbird Leys neighbourhood team want to reassure the community that antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and encourage residents to report their concerns, as without this information this would not have been possible.”

The force said it will work with police in the area and housing providers to ensure the measure is enforced.
