The helicopter was dispatched to the busy retail location in the city centre yesterday afternoon before 3pm (Sunday, December 15).
It has been revealed by Thames Valley Air Ambulance that the incident was related to critical care and saw the helicopter fly over Oxford later on in the afternoon.
The air ambulance was seen above South Hinksey at around 3.05pm following the incident at the shopping centre

A spokesperson for the service said: “We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident in Oxford yesterday.”
Thames Valley Air Ambulance also confirmed that the incident had occurred at the Westgate shopping centre in Oxford city centre but could not reveal which hospital the helicopter was headed to.
