The queues for Bicester Village caused quite a stir on social media yesterday (December 26) as a multitude of shoppers posted videos of the queues on TikTok.
Just an hour from London, the outlet is a popular tourist destination and attracts people from all over the country and even the world.
One shopper who posted a TikTok showing the chaos yesterday said: “I’ve made one of the biggest mistakes of the year – I’ve ended up going to Bicester Village on Boxing Day.
“The queues – three hours just to get into the retail park and two hours per shop.
“I mean, I’m never going to do this again.”

Oxon Travel, a travel account ran by Oxfordshire County Council, posted a traffic warning at 2.30pm on Boxing Day.
It said: “We are experiencing long delays in Bicester on the A41 Oxford Road and the roads surrounding Bicester Village.”
It urged people to consider using the nearby park and ride due to the outlet car park being full and advised motorists to plan their journey ahead.
There is a sale of 70 per cent off the original retail price in participating boutiques until January 26, 2025.
Bicester Village has declined to comment on the queues.
