The tennis pro has been linked to a potential stint at the historic institution for quite some time following a trip to the city earlier this year.
She also returned to the county later in the summer for a day trip to Henley, exciting fans as she was spotted at several public spots.
Now the 21-year-old has commented on the importance of education in her life, adding fuel to the Oxford University rumour mill.

Speaking to Women’s Health she said: “There were certain moments where I felt envy – like when there were parties that I couldn’t go to, but at the end of the day, I didn’t know any different.
“You don’t miss what you don’t know. I knew I wanted to be the best and I knew what I needed to do to get there, so I didn’t think of it as a sacrifice.
“Newstead is pretty demanding, so it wasn’t like I could take it easy off the court, either.
“I put all my time into tennis or school, but it was good to have those two different worlds: school and tennis. Each was a break from the other.”

She previously said: “I’m very much focused on my professional tennis career.
“Once that’s over maybe or once I have more disposition or more time, that’s for sure something I would love to explore.
“For now I’m very much focused on the tennis.”
