Kathryn Croxson, who lives in Oxford and specialises in art and textile design, organised the revamp with Edwina Sercombe and Alice Maccoll from DAE Studio and Rachel McGrath who makes jewellery.
The four artists and designers from Oxfordshire and London have put handmade props, hand painted products and textile prints in the window 12 Turl Street, which is currently empty.

Ms Croxon said: “It’s such a great idea to revamp empty shop fronts and bring some life back.”
She said she saw “quite a few” of the empty shops and thought it would be “nice” if they were “full of something a bit brighter, Christmassy and creative”.
French bakery La Savoir Boulangerie has plans permitted to move into 12 Turl Street, but in the meantime the empty unit will continue to spread the festive spirit with the decorations.
