You might have seen the OxTrail oxen at Westgate Oxford last weekend. If not you can’t have missed the 138 brightly painted oxen exhibited across Oxfordshire this summer, painted by the likes of children’s illustrator Korky Paul and author David Melling, inspired by our local wildlife, landscape and culture.

The Sheriff of Oxford, Cllr James Fry, said: “OxTrail is an incredibly innovative idea and Sobell House has done a great job. I just cannot believe people were able to paint all of these. They are works of art and I hope people come to bid on them in the auction on Friday. These are things that should be treasured for the future. They can now be part of our history.”
