IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PARKING AT THE KASSAM STADIUM

Oxford United would like to remind supporters about the parking restrictions at the Kassam Stadium and Leisure Park ahead of a highly exciting new season in the Championship.

The Fikora Group of Companies introduced a car park management system operated by Parkingeye on Thursday 14th March at the stadium car park, one that is similar to that in operation at the Express by Holiday Inn and the Hampton by Hilton hotel.

This measure was taken to reduce abuse, over-stays and unwanted parking from people not using on site facilities.

Motorists parking on Oxford United home games do not need to register unless they are visiting the car park four hours before kick-off or four hours after the match.

Outside of home matchday excluded hours as stated above, supporters visiting the Ticket Office or Club Shop, or attending meetings with club officials, must register their vehicle.

There is a consideration period, but this is not to be used as free parking and is in place to allow those using the facilities to read the signs and register for parking. This grace period was initially 10 minutes but was extended to 20 by the management company.

We would like to highlight that all supporters and visitors must register their vehicle using the terminal or the QR code at the Stadium or Leisure Centre in order to obtain a four-hour permit. There is no free-parking period on site and the rules also apply to blue badge holders.

Parkingeye has also advised that all those who received a parking charge for exceeding the initial 10-minute consideration period and not registering their vehicle have had their charge cancelled, as long as it sits within the 20-minute timeframe.

Oxford United supporters travelling on the London Road Coaches to away matches are no longer be able to leave vehicles in the Kassam Stadium car parks. However, parking bays are available along the length of Grenoble Road – supporters are advised to leave additional time to park and walk back to the relevant bus stop.

Vehicles cannot be left on site overnight.

Full details will be displayed on signage at the Stadium and Leisure Park.
