Swindon Town U18s make the short journey to Oxford to face the U’s in the latest Merit League One fixture this Saturday morning.
Town’s U18s will be looking to respond to their previous league fixture, which saw Town defeated away to Plymouth last time out and now have the opportunity to react against a side that they have a previously successful record against earlier this campaign.
Oxford will also be looking for a similarly reactive performance with a 5-0 away defeat to Stevenage last time out, as the U’s currently sit a place below Swindon in the Merit League One table in eighth place.
Looking further into this Merit League campaign so far, Swindon have so far scored 13 times and conceded 17 times, with their opponents scoring 11 times and conceding an identical 17 times too.
With this being the penultimate game of Town’s Merit League One campaign, they will be hoping to finish this season positively and ending an impressive campaign overall with another victory over Oxford, will certainly help with that assessment come the end of the season.
