OXFORD, Miss. – The Southeastern Conference released further details of the 2024-25 men’s basketball schedule on Tuesday, announcing dates for weekend games and potential dates for weekday competitions.
Each game will be played either on Saturday or midweek, with the weekday contests taking place on Tuesday or Wednesday. Midweek dates, as well as tipoff times and TV designations, will be announced at a later date.
The Rebels begin the new year in 2025 with their conference opener at home, hosting Georgia on Saturday, Jan. 4. They will then travel to Arkansas for a midweek game on Jan. 7 or 8 before returning to host LSU on Saturday Jan. 11.
Ole Miss hits the road the following week, facing Alabama on Jan. 14 or 15 before their first contest with rival Mississippi St. on Saturday, Jan. 18 in Starkville, Miss. The Rebels then return home for a midweek game with Texas A&M on Jan. 21 or 22.
Following a trip up north to face Missouri on Saturday, Jan. 25, Chris Beard’s team returns to Oxford for a huge stretch of games. The Rebels get their first conference matchup with Texas in the SJB Pavilion on Jan. 28 or 29 during the week, before hosting Auburn on Saturday, Feb. 1. Ole Miss concludes a three-game run at home with a midweek game against Kentucky on Feb. 4 or 5.
The Rebels then travel to LSU on Saturday, Feb. 8 and take on South Carolina on the road on Feb. 11 or 12.
The in-state rivalry of Ole Miss and Mississippi St. continues as the Rebels host the Bulldogs on Saturday, Feb. 15. After a midweek break, Ole Miss then travels to Vanderbilt on Saturday, Feb. 22 and to Auburn on Feb. 25 or 26.
Ole Miss plays their last two games at home during the regular season, beginning with first-year conference member Oklahoma on Saturday, March 1, followed by Tennessee on March 4 or 5.
The Rebels close out the schedule with the regular-season finale at Florida on Saturday, March 8.
