Millwall duo set for scan after limping off against Oxford United

NEIL Harris revealed Josh Coburn sustained a foot injury during the first half of Millwall’s 1-1 draw against Oxford United today, and is set for a X-ray scan.

Coburn limped off at half-time after being on the receiving end of a heavy challenge. The 21-year-old had previously started Millwall’s last two games after missing two months with a calf injury.

Shaun Hutchinson also departed the game injured in the 80th minute, although Harris is unsure whether it was cramp or a more serious injury.

“Josh Coburn has gone into a protective boot and he’ll go straight for a X-ray scan to see if there’s any damage to his foot,” Harris said.

“He was a huge loss for us in the second half. I thought he was outstanding in the first half. He’s been outstanding every time he’s gone on the pitch for us.

“It shows the importance of him as a profile in our team of how the modern game is and how we want to play. Josh Coburn’s a key part of that.

“Shaun Hutchinson was cramping up in his hamstring and his calf down the left hand side. So we’re not sure it’s a nerve issue, but again we won’t know for the next 48 hours.”
