This week football clubs across the county have been paying their tributes to Badger, who was an Abingdon United midfielder.
On Wednesday (September 18) Abingdon United confirmed the news of his death, remembering a “character on and off the pitch”.
Oxford United has asked fans attending the Bristol City game today (September 21) to join them in a minutes applause during the 24th minute.
A statement posted by the club on social media this morning (September 21) said: “In honour of Jack Badger, we ask fans attending our Bristol City fixture today, to join us in a minute’s applause during the 24th minute of the game.
“Let’s come together to remember Jack.”

On Wednesday (September 18) Abingdon United posted on social media: “Abingdon United are devastated to learn of the sudden passing of our first team player and dear friend Jack Badger.
“Our thoughts at this hardest of times are with all of Jack’s loved ones, his family, his friends and his teammates.
“A character on and off the pitch, Jack will be missed by all of us at Abingdon United. You are so loved Jack, rest in peace our Badge.”
The post was quoted by Oxford United, who said: “Everyone at Oxford United is devastated to learn of the passing of U’s fan Jack Badger.
“We send our sincere condolences to Jack’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
