OXFORD — There was a celebrity guest in attendance at the Ole Miss football game on Saturday.
Actor Kevin Costner was on hand to watch Ole Miss (6-2, 2-2 SEC) beat Oklahoma 26-14. He also tailgated in The Grove before the No. 18 Rebels’ victory.
He met coach Lane Kiffin before the game, who posted a picture of the meeting on his X account, formerly Twitter, with the caption, “If you build it, they will come.” It was a nod to Costner’s role in the movie “Field of Dreams.”
Costner also starred in “The Untouchables,” “Bull Durham,” and on the television series “Yellowstone.”
