Oxford United selling match worn remembrance shirts

The shirts were worn during the club’s matches against Swansea City on Saturday, November 2, and their midweek fixture against Hull City on Tuesday, November 5.

Each of the 19 shirts have been signed by the player who wore it and can be bided on via Oxford United’s website.

The auction began at 5pm on Wednesday, November 6, and will run until 7pm on Sunday, November 10.

All proceeds from the auction will go to The Royal British Legion, the country’s largest armed forces charity.

It provides lifelong support to those affected by their service, both physically and mentally.

The charity is reliant on public support, and the club is encouraging fans to contribute by bidding on the shirts.

To place a bid, fans must log in to their account, and the highest bidder after the auction will have three days to complete the purchase.

If the purchase is not completed within this time, the item will be automatically offered to the next highest bidder.

To complete the purchase, the highest bidder will need to add the item to their basket and check out as usual.

The club has reminded fans to consider their bids carefully, as they cannot accept returns on auction items.
