⚡Quick Peterborough vs Oxford United betting tips
Peterborough vs Oxford United predictions
Oxford United are 1-0 up going into the second leg of the semi-final.
There wasn’t much splitting the two sides in a fairly lacklustre first leg at the Kassam Stadium.
Elliott Moore’s strike on the 53rd minute was enough to separate the two sides, but Peterborough will be keen on overturning that deficit, as they probably feel they deserved a draw.
It’s the Posh who look like taking this one too and need to stay defensively sound as they let in a goal from a corner against Oxford.
Apart from that, they looked the better side and should remain such in the second leg, with the better passing, possession, number of chances created and much more.
📝 Peterborough vs Oxford United betting tips
The Posh will be after a big win here to send them through to the Play-Off final at Wembley, but need two goals to do it in normal time before the extra time and penalties can eat away at the fitness and preparations of the 90 minutes. They look the better squad but have to turn up on the night which could give them a bit of an advantage.
Peterborough to win in 90 minutes – 37/20
Peterborough don’t have superior form at home vs away but it doesn’t make them less likely when playing at home, as they picked up 13 wins from a possible 23.
Away from home they suffered just two more defeats but still picked up 12 wins whereas Oxford struggle a lot more on their travels, with eight losses and 11 wins.
Similarly though, at home Oxford picked up just 11 wins but as many as seven draws which was just enough to send them to the play-offs in the end.
The Posh are a great price to win in normal time, even if it could still end up going to extra time as a result of a 2-1 or 3-2 victory for example.

Over 3.5 goals, Clarke-Harris to score – 19/5
As Oxford struggle away from home and this being one of the biggest matches they’ve played in recent years, they will need to dig deeper to come away with a ticket to Wembley.
But they’ve conceded 32 goals on their travels in League One this season and Peterborough have scored 55 at home, making this a potential for a big scoring clash after a disappointing 1-0 last time.
Oxford United also looked dangerous with their set-pieces so this covers a goal fest with both teams likely to score in an all out semi final.
Peterborough had numerous chances with every attacking player getting in on the action.
That’s seemingly been the way all season with as many as five players hitting double digits.
Joel Randall and Ephron Mason-Clark have played 49 games this season and will surely be on the score sheet at some point to help see them add to their 12 and 16 goals, respectively that they’ve managed so far.
But Jonson Clarke-Harris has scored 12 from just 39 appearances and could be the one to help see the Posh make a big challenge for the final.
