As many as 17 row boats could be spotted along River Thames as part of the rowing tour on Friday afternoon, August 30. 

Officials with the environment agency could be seen helping the rowers travel through Osney Lock on Friday afternoon. The rowers were heading towards Radley near Abingdon on Friday afternoon. 

People came from all across the country from Bath to Yorkshire for the rowing tour on the River Thames. 

The rowing tour started on Thursday (August 29) with the first day of rowing launching on Friday (August 30) just north of Oxford. 

The rowing tour launched from Bablock Hythe, about five miles north of Oxford, travels through the Abingdon area, on to the Wallingford area of the Thames and finishes at Mapledurham close to the south Oxfordshire border near Reading on Sunday, September 1.
