Storm Darragh will impact large parts of the UK from later today and into Saturday.

There is a yellow weather warning for strong winds in force in Oxfordshire from 3pm today (December 6) and lasting all weekend until 6am on Sunday.

The Met Office has warned debris from the southerly winds could cause damage to roads and houses and road, rail, air and ferry services will be affected.

The Environment Agency has warned of ‘some risk’ of flooding in Oxfordshire today.

There are 21 flood alerts in place but no flood warnings affecting the county.

Oxfordshire suffered widespread flooding with multiple flood warnings issued and travel disruption only last month as a result of Storm Bert.
