The Woodstock palace has partnered with Cherwell Collective, Oxford’s hub for Sustainable Fashion Week, to debut the interactive exhibition and live runway show.
The exhibition, titled Carbon Cost of Fashion, will be open from Monday, September 23, to Friday, September 27, from 10am to 5pm at The Stables Café at the palace.
It will showcase the stages of textile production, the impact of fast fashion, and how the visitors can use sustainable alternatives.
The sustainable fashion runway show will take place on Tuesday, September 24, in the Orangery at Blenheim Palace from 7.30pm to 10pm.
Event producer, Anna Sturrock, said: “We are so excited to showcase these incredible local designers.
“It’s incredible to see the diversity of work created and how everyone has taken on totally different approaches to sustainability.
“It really shows that there are thousands of ways to be more sustainable when it comes to fashion.”
The ticketed event will feature more than 20 designers, including Oxfam, showcasing outfits made from recycled materials or upcycled clothes.
Cherwell Collective has encouraged guests to follow a “dress to progress” dress code.
General seated tickets for the runway event are £38.62 per person or a VIP table for 10 including complimentary champagne and canapes for £2,709.21.
