Oxford United will be looking to continue their winning start to the season when they welcome Peterborough in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The U’s began their first Championship campaign in 25 years with a 2-0 win over Norwich on Saturday, with first-half goals from Mark Harris and Cameron Brannagan.
Posh, who Oxford beat in the League One playoffs last season, lost by the same scoreline at home against recently-relegated Huddersfield.
Des Buckingham will likely ring the changes for this fixture, with just two of his new summer signings starting the fixture against the Canaries. Jamie Cumming and Joe Bennett also started after penning new deals with the club after spells last season.
Peterborough have lost some key players in Harrison Burrows, Ronnie Edwards and Ephron Mason-Clark, among others.
In addition to the playoff fixtures, Oxford also beat the Posh 5-0 in the home league fixture but lost 3-0 at London Road earlier in the campaign. Both sides will be looking for a decent cup run despite their respective goals in their leagues.
Predicted line-up: Matt Ingram, Jack Currie, Ciaron Brown, Elliott Moore, Peter Kioso, Louie Sibley, Cameron Brannagan, Idris El Mizouni, Tyler Goodrham, Mark Harris, Malcolm Ebiowei.
Prediction: Oxford United 1-0 Peterborough United
