The duo missed the defeat at Blackburn Rovers, but U’s head coach Des Buckingham hopes they’ll be back in the side when United welcome Preston North End on Saturday.
Brannagan was unavailable due to illness, and could make an earlier return at Coventry City in the Carabao Cup, while Moore picked up a knock to his knee in training.
Meanwhile, Przemyslaw Placheta came on as a second half substitute at Rovers, but lasted 24 minutes before being forced off with what appeared to be a muscular problem in his leg.

Buckingham said: “We lost a couple that weren’t here, and Shemmy who’s gone on and then had to come off, and it affects the changes we potentially wanted to make.
“It’s a twinge he said he felt in his leg. We’ll see.
“Cam should be back for Tuesday, and in contention for Tuesday. Elliott at the moment, as long as it settles down this weekend, is for him to be in for Saturday.
“It was in training, it was a knock. It was just too soon, and too painful.
“All the scans and everything he’s done are clear, and he’s fine. It’s now just a slight bit of swelling that needs to disappear, to allow him to perform.”
