Vills are ninth in the 12-team Women’s Super League table, and boast the likes of experienced England internationals Jordan Nobbs and Rachel Daly in their squad.
The latter announced her retirement from international football in April, after winning the Euros in 2022 and reaching the World Cup final last summer.
U’s manager Sam Rose is a former Villa assistant boss, and spent just over a year at the club between June 2022 and July 2023.

If United are to take on Villa though, they must first win their rearranged third round tie at home against Bristol Rovers.
The tie was postponed on Sunday due to Storm Darragh, and has been reorganised for this Sunday, with kick-off at 1pm at Oxford City’s MGroup Stadium.
The league game against Plymouth Argyle will now be rescheduled, with a new date shared once confirmed.
