Warning over broken traffic lights at Oxford junction

Oxfordshire County Council said the broken traffic lights are at the junction between the A4165 Banbury Road and the B4495 Marston Ferry Road in Summertown.

The council urged motorists to approach with caution.

A statement from the Oxon Travel posted on X this morning said: “The traffic signals on the junction between A4165 at Banbury Road with B4495 Marston Ferry Road are not working.

“Please approach with caution.”

It is understood the lights have not been working for a number of hours. 

One motorist told the Oxford Mail this morning that there were delays of between five and 10 minutes.
